Currently, all City of Ottawa Requests for Quotation (RFQ) over $100,000 are hosted on MERX.com. As April 4, 2016, all City of Ottawa RFQs for opportunities under $100,000 will also be hosted on MERX. These opportunities will no longer be hosted on Ottawa.ca.

The new MERX platform will provide a more interactive user experience, designed to help suppliers find, monitor and bid electronically on City of Ottawa RFQ opportunities.

The City of Ottawa recommends that all suppliers attend one of the live information sessions in March 2016 to learn about the new enhancements, including: how to navigate the system, revise your profile, find opportunities and bid electronically. Live sessions will be held at Ben Franklin Place (101 Centrepointe Drive) in The Chamber on the following dates:

• Monday March 7, 2016, 9:00AM – 10:30AM
• Thursday March 17, 2016, 10:00AM – 11:30AM
• Wednesday March 23, 2016, 9:00AM – 10:30AM

Due to limited seating, registration is required. To register, send an email with your name, company and desired training date to eprocurement@ottawa.ca.
