[ARCHIVED] Update: Potential 2014 Renewal Dates for Federal Supply Arrangements

[ARCHIVED August 2, 2016 – This page will no longer be updated. Please see https://blog.theproposalcentre.ca//list-of-primers/ for current information on key Government of Canada and Government of Ontario contract vehicles]

TSPS Task-Based and TSPS Solutions-Based Requests for Supply Arrangement will be posted on the Buyandsell.gc.ca website “on or about” February 19, 2014. TBIPS Requests for Supply Arrangement are also expected be posted in “mid February”.

Suppliers are encouraged to visit the Centralized Professional Services e-Portal (CPSS) and review the information for suppliers under the heading: For Businesses. Suppliers are reminded that all active solicitations are published on Buyandsell.gc.ca. In the case of TBIPS, TSPS, ProServices and potentially other upcoming supply arrangements or standing offers, suppliers must enter some of the proposal components directly into the CPSS Solicitation Dashboard and can start doing so as soon as the Request for Supply Arrangement is posted to the buyandsell.gc.ca website.

No Ongoing Opportunity to Qualify for Standing Offers
There will be no opportunity on a quarterly basis to qualify for the TSPS or TBIPS Standing Offers. The TSPS Standing Offer is not expected to be renewed until late 2014, or early 2015. The TBIPS Standing Offer should be renewed in the Fall of 2014, though PWGSC has not indicated a timeline.

    SBIPS
The SBIPS Request for Supply Arrangement continues to be delayed; with posting expected as late as Spring 2014.

    ProServices
The next opportunity to qualify for ProServices is still expected to be April 1, 2014.
I’d like to thank the helpful folks in procurement at PWGSC who responded quickly to our enquiries into these upcoming opportunities.

The Proposal Centre will keep you informed as we receive new information. If your company is interested in securing a supply arrangement with the federal government, it doesn’t hurt to start preparing early and we can help. For further information, contact us.
