The Proposal Centre has received notice about an upcoming webinar which may be of interest to any suppliers who have not yet obtained their security clearance. The following notice was distributed by the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises announcing the webinar:

The Office of Small and Medium Enterprises  ̶  National Capital Region (OSME-NCR), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is pleased to invite you to attend a free webinar entitled “How to obtain a security clearance with the Industrial Security Program”.

This webinar will provide key information to help you better understand:

1. The security requirements identified in the tender.
2. The registration process to obtain a security clearance with the Industrial Security Program.
3. The different levels of organization clearances and personnel clearances.
4. Your responsibilities as a supplier.

Please register a minimum of three days before the webinar to receive the appropriate log in information.

You will receive information to access this webinar one day before the scheduled online event.

The webinar application is not supported by mobile telephones; therefore, you will need to access the event from a computer with internet capabilities.

During the webinar you will have an opportunity to ask questions via email. The presenter will respond to as many questions as time permits.

A recorded copy of the webinar will be sent to you shortly after the event.
