RFI: SaaS Method of Supply (GC Cloud)

On October 29, 2018 Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) published a Request for Information (RFI) requesting Industry input to help establish a new method of supply for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) requirements. The new SaaS method of supply is part of the GC Cloud Services Procurement Vehicle framework, which is intended to help position the Government of Canada and public sector partners to leverage the latest digital technologies in the delivery of programs and services to all Canadians.

The GC Cloud Services Procurement Vehicle framework will provide methods of supply to satisfy both classified and unclassified cloud requirements. Initially, the SaaS method of supply will cover requirements pertaining to Protected B data. In the future, it may expand to cover requirements with higher and with lower data classifications.

For further information and to comment, refer to the RFI – SaaS Method of Supply solicitation document, which also contains a Draft Request for Supply Arrangement. The RFI closes for comments on November 19, 2018.

Interested parties should monitor the RFI – SaaS Method of Supply  notice on buyandsell.gc.ca. To facilitate searching, all future postings related to SaaS method of supply will include “GC Cloud” in the title. You can also receive updates by subscribing to the email notifications for this tender.
